Our Farmshop Blacketyside Farm Shop is open 6 days a week all year round. Our speciality is our own soft fruit. Ready picked fruits are available straight from our farm fresh or frozen. When in season we always have a selection of varieties of freshly picked strawberries, raspberries and other soft fruits with samples so you can try before you buy. In order for you to be able to enjoy our fruit with no food miles all year round we freeze our fresh fruit during the season so there are strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, redcurrants, gooseberries and blackcurrants always available in our freezers. We also grow potatoes and some vegetables for sale in the shop and we source other vegetables from local farms wherever possible. Homemade cakes, pies, jams and an extensive range of soups and ready meals are cooked daily in our farm shop kitchen for sale in the shop. We use traditional farmhouse recipes and as many ingredients as possible either straight from the fields or fresh from Steve Mitchell’s butchery counter in the shop. This means that food miles are kept to a minimum and again the freshest, quality product is available to our customers. Our aim is to provide our customers with an enjoyable shopping experience,- smiling faces,a warm welcome, easy parking, lots of fresh, local produce and interesting gift ideas.
