Joining the Army Cadets helps young people (and adult volunteers) to become more independent, confident and able to step up to any challenge. We welcome cadets of all abilities and backgrounds and give them a wide range of fun, exciting and adventurous opportunities. Our training programme gives young people a head start by helping them to develop valuable teamworking and leadership skills. We also give them access to recognised vocational qualifications from the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards Scheme to BTEC First Diplomas.
