Directly opposite the Tricycle Theatre, the Black Lion bar is a comfortable, popular and aesthetically appealing pub. The Black Lion was rebuilt after the great Fire of London. There has always been a pub on this site since the 6th Century. The Black Lion is trendy but certainly not pretentious. It is a popular bar that get extremely busy but the bar staff are efficient and quick. "A really relaxed pub that is right at the heart of Kilburn’s nightlife. You can’t say that the ceiling is Grade II listed in your average pub. There is a friendly atmosphere and the staff are skilled and enthusiastic. Worth a visit."
