Come and discover golf at Upton-by-Chester Golf Club. Established in 1934, our mature 18-hole parkland course in the heart of the village offers an attractive golfing experience whether you are a beginner or a more experienced player and suitable for juniors through to seniors alike. Nick Sargent, our Senior PGA Professional, provides a full golfing service of lessons and a fully stocked golf-shop. Golf is one of the health-focused activities promoted by Sport England so if you are thinking about trying golf for the first time we are pleased to be offering a series of free taster sessions during Spring and early Summer – see advertisement for details. If you are getting back into playing golf or are a current golfer looking for a new club to join why not take advantage of our innovative “Stairway to Golf” membership package. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly club with active Junior, Men’s, Ladies and Seniors’ sections plus social activities including an art class, bridge club and facilities for other pastimes such as snooker, darts and table tennis. Social memberships are available for non-golfers. We have excellent bar and catering facilities and our “Veranda 19” restaurant is open to the general public – room and catering hire is also available for private functions.
