Winifred Holtby Academy is an 11-16 educational establishment accommodating 1350 pupils. As an Academy we strive to bring out the best in our pupils as every child matters. We are determined that no child should be left behind as we provide a learning culture in which all pupils can flourish and achieve their potential. Winifred Holtby Academy was founded in 1969 and officially opened on Wednesday 30th September 1970. We moved into our new state of the art £38 million building in September 2011 and became an Academy in May 2013.
