Church Eaton Village Institute Informacje o firmie

Ogólne informacje

It is 125 years since Mary Wiley gave the Institute to the village of Church Eaton. In 1892 she saw the need for a community centre where parishioners could go for 'reading and recreation'. She donated the land, paid for the hall to be built and charged the 'rector of the day' to ensure that it was run for the benefit of the villagers. Since then the village institute has offered a valuable space for residents and visitors alike to enjoy functions and entertainment and now, following more than £80,000 of improvements in 2014 and energy efficient projects in subsequent years, the Institute is adequately equipped to handle your event. The building features a large hall with a stage at one end, a fully-equipped kitchen and modern accessible toilet facilities. A bar counter is also available but, as we do not have a licence for the sale of alcohol, the hirer must make an arrangement with a qualified licensee or obtain a temporary event notice (TEN). Parking is available for around 40 cars; however the car park is also used by the Glebelands Sports Association and may be busy when there is a cricket or tennis match being held. Follow the link to the institute website for more detailed information about what facilities are available. **For bookings or enquiries please call 01785 824882 or send a message via the button on the front page.**
