Karen has an extensive portfolio, some of which can be viewed by browsing the galleries on this website, or she can design your own unique sugar creation, especially for your special celebration. Hand made sugar models and flowers can be created, to provide you with an unusual memento of your day. Sponge in the middle Cakes is a home based business, which is based in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. Karen has been making and decorating cakes for the last 18 years in one form or another, she has gained the level 2 and level 3 in both City and guilds sugar craft and sugar flowers, and also has a level 3 City and Guilds in creative art. Karen has also done some teaching of the NCFE sugar craft course at a local college and is available to do one to one teaching for flowers or sugar models.
