Cairnryan is a small, friendly, family-run park which the current owners acquired several years ago and ever since have been improving and modernising the facilities. There is an outdoor swimming pool, new children’s play-park, indoor bowling green, teenager’s room, soft play for the little ones and a stylish entertainment complex incorporating a family bar/restaurant, sports bar, games room and decked outside area with seating. A full and varied program of entertainment is provided throughout the season. A very popular destination for holidaymakers Cairnryan Caravan Park is a fantastic destination for everyone. From families to couples and even individuals who will find there is plenty to do both on site and in the surrounding area. The nearest town is Stranraer which boasts Agnew Park, a beach, an array of shops, bars and restaurants. The caravan park is also located near the pretty fishing village of Portpatrick which is just 12 miles away and has a quaint harbour, olde-worlde pubs, arcade and several antique and curiosity shops and popular with walkers and ramblers - The Southern Upland Way. Just an hour’s drive away is the popular seaside town of Ayr, which offers all the entertainment you could want with restaurants, crazy golf, sandy beaches and premier golf courses.
