Mirfield Tennis Club has existed since at least 1880 and is a non-for profit, community run club run by the local community. It runs alongside and with support from Kirklees Council, whilst also being affiliated with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). The club offers a range of facilities at a great quality, including six courts, a clubhouse and bar. The club offers tennis to a range of players, from complete beginners to advanced team players, through a range of coaching, socail tennis, league matches and tournaments.
