The cultural diversity of Nepal has provided ample space for the growth of a number of cuisines based on the ethnic groups and the geographical features of the region. Hence, Himalayan food encompasses a whole array of different flavor. Thali is a staple dish of Nepal. While momos are the favorite dumplings of the Newars in Kathmandu Valley. Born in the mountain of the Himalayas this has become a favorite style of food throughout the world. The difference is in the seasoning.
